Remotera Privacy Policy

Last updated: 31 October 2026

Remotera ("the app") is a remote control for Android TV and Google TV devices, published by Ekrem Tekerek. This policy explains what data the app handles and why.

What the app itself does not collect

Remotera has no accounts and no servers of its own. We do not collect, store or sell your personal data, and we do not track what you watch.

Advertising (free version)

The free version shows ads provided by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), approximate location derived from IP address, and app interaction data. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland the app asks for your consent before personalized ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Buying Remotera Pro removes all ads; the ad SDK is then not started at all.

Purchases

Remotera Pro is purchased through Google Play. Payment is handled entirely by Google; we only receive confirmation that the purchase belongs to your Google account.

Permissions

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
